Marie Aubinais was an editor for Pomme d'Api magazine. Every month, for more than 20 years, she has been writing the stories of Petit Ours Brun. She was also editor-in-chief of the magazine Mille et une Histories (Fleurus). She now devotes herself to writing and works for various publishers. She is the author of several books in the collection Les questions des petits (Bayard Jeunesse).

When Pomme d'Api asked me in 1975 to create Petit Ours Brun for a mini-book, the character already existed in my family: he was my little boy. Daniele Bour lives in the Haut-Marne countryside and continues to bring Petit Ours Brun to life every month in Pomme d'Api.
