Most moisturizers improve skin hydration by limiting the evaporation of water from the skin and/or by binding moisture into the outer layer of the skin with humectants such as Glycerin. These are microscopic channels that transport water between skin cells and support skin hydration from within. Eucerin Aquaporin Active enhances its natural strength. The formula contains Gluco Glycerol, a state-of-the-art hydrating ingredient, which is proven to increase the number of Aquaporins in the skin.
