In an Andalusian town at the beginning of the 19th century, Uncle Lucas is the cunning and malicious owner of the mill and husband of the beautiful Frasquita. To achieve his purpose, he devises the hoax of having Lucas arrested and brought before the mayor of the neighboring town under the childish pretext and in order to keep him behind bars until the following morning.

Alarcon, from a friendly and all-powerful position, poses a comic conflict that he configures with impressionist touches, between realism and the farce. The anecdote of this work runs between plastically designed characters and seeks its end effortlessly, concluded by an omniscient and mocking author.
